A study of New Testament Biblical leadership themes in historical context, designed to introduce students to the fundamental leadership themes that run through the literature of the New Testament, or a reading of selected books of the New Testament. This course sets New Testament texts within their context guiding students in understanding the leadership themes exhibited in the New Testament. Emphasis is placed on the emergence and role of leaders in the development of the New Testament church in the greater context of the Roman Empire (including persecution and martyrdom of the Apostles and early church believers) and the emergence of the church after the conversion of Constantine.
