The life of Christ is studied from the texts of the Four Gospels. Although some of the critical issues regarding genre, sources and the Gospels as the reflections of the early church communities are considered, most attention is focused on the geographical, historical, and cultural backgrounds of Jesus’ life, his teachings, death and resurrection, as well as on the relevance of the Gospels for today.
