This course is an overview of trends, challenges (social and missional), cultures, and harvest frontiers in contexts around the world. It considers the opportunities for the Church's mission and the state of Christianity. The course explores the contexts of Africa, the Unreached People Groups, Islamic World, East Asia, and the Post-Christian Western World. With the Church growing in the Global South and the decline of the Western Church, the course will also explore the impact on global mission trends. Missional implications will be considered and missional strategies developed for application to one’s ministry.
