Bob Olivera has been
the Lions Head Coach for seven years.
He also serves as the Athletic Director and as the Dean of the Enrollment
Services Division. During the
past seven years, Coach Olivera has improved the Lions play and brought
them to a competitive level within their region. His 2006 squad won 13 games, including
three victories over Dominican University, a school that they had never
defeated in eight seasons. The
Lions lost close games to several top twenty teams that included number
one ranked Cal Baptist of Riverside, CA.
During the 2006 season, the Lions more than doubled their hits and
run production from the previous year.
Coach Olivera has several returning players for the 2007 season
and his team should be a factor in the regional standings.
Bob lives in Livermore, CA with his wife Evelyn.
This season, Coach Olivera
will have former player and MVP Crystal
Layton as his Assistant Coach.
