Crystal Layton, a
former Lions standout and two-time MVP, will serve as the Assistant Coach
for the 2007 season. Coach Layton
brings a wealth of softball knowledge to the Lions. She does an outstanding job of getting
the team ready to play at a high level and provides excellent leadership
to all players. Coach Layton was
selected as a 2006 NAIA Academic All-American. During her playing days, she was recognized as an
outstanding clutch hitter and one of the best defensive infielders in the
country.
