Kathy Morrow Programs Available This 24-unit program may be taken on campus or at an off-campus extension site. The eight courses of the program correspond to courses taught in Patten’s B.A. program. Courses may be transferred to the B.A. program, provided that the student first meets the entrance requirements of that program. For students whose first language is not English, an official test score of 219 or higher is required on the CB-TOEFL for admission to the University. A student is awarded the Biblical Studies-Ministry Certificate upon completion of this 24-unit program with a GPA of 2.0 or above. This program trains those who will be serving as directors of Christian activities or as pastoral assistants.
Christian Ministry Certificate This 48-unit program prepares students to serve as directors of religious activities or pastoral assistants. Upon completion of this program with a GPA of 2.0 or above, the student is awarded the Christian Ministry Certificate.
The Associate of Arts in Church Ministries The Associate of Arts in Church Ministry offers students the ability to gain a breadth of knowledge in general education, Biblical and theological studies, and ministry studies. It is ideal for students who want to prepare for ministry in a short amount of time and who need the basic competencies of a liberal arts education. Currently Patten University has Extension Campuses offering the AA in Church Ministry throughout California, including Sacramento, Fresno and Fountain Valley.
