Thank you for being an integral part of the Patten University Community. While
our primary purpose is to provide an excellent education for motivated and
committed students, our commitment to serve extends far beyond our campus
borders. Every day, we walk our pledge to support members of the local or
national community, fellow educators and business persons, as well as Patten University alum. Our promise to
serve includes you and we welcome you to partner with us as a growing

Founder’s Weekend
Come join us for the second annual Founder's
Weekend. This homecoming event
is a wonderful time to revisit the campus and celebrate the legacy shared
with your fellow alumni. Our
featured speakers this year are Genea Brice (B.A.
1998, Teaching Credential, 1999) and Samuel Thomas (B.A., 1985). Other activities include faculty
seminars, worship services, a softball game, musical presentations and a
banquet. For more information, Contact

In keeping with Patten’s
commitment to Christian and community service, a new award was introduced
at the Founder’s Weekend banquet on September 26 to honor alumni who
demonstrate an exceptional lifestyle of service. “The Bebe
Patten Annual Benevolence Award” commemorates Patten’s founder,
whose efforts on behalf of communities in need extended from Fruitvale to
the Holy Land. All Patten alumni are eligible for
the award, which will be presented annually at the Founder’s
Weekend. The award consists of
a plaque and a check for $500 that will be donated to a ministry/charity of
the recipient’s choice.
Written nominations must be
presented to the Director of Alumni relations by June 30. For more details on the award and
the selection process, please click
here.
