Bachelor of Science — Organizational Management  
   


The Organizational Management major is designed for individuals desiring to gain the knowledge, skills and perspectives which will enable them to become effective and creative leaders in an organizational or business setting.

Learning Outcomes

Students will:

  1. Develop a portfolio that includes a personal assessment of one's strengths and weaknesses, a vision statement, and a professional development plan necessary for leadership in an organizational or business setting;
  2. Acquire theoretical foundations and practical skills in leadership, management, and communication that will apply to a variety of organizational and business situations;
  3. Demonstrate understanding and appreciation of sound principles and practices in business law and ethics, managerial economics and finance, and human resource management;
  4. Apply a working knowledge of the principles and practices useful in successfully conducting strategic planning, marketing and business development;
  5. Develop an ethical and professional philosophy, based upon Judeo-Christian values, that enhances communication, decision making, interpersonal relationships and a climate of mutual respect; and
  6. Demonstrate mastery of research methodology and presentation skills through a senior integrated management project.
